Scrap surcharges on September deliveries of sections in the EU are expected to rise by significantly. Rises are expected to be in the region of 60 euro per tonne. This will push scrap surcharges into the region of 140 – 150 euro per tonne. Section producers have cited almost obviously rises in scrap prices necessitating this. |
